failed install

hi all
im instaling msde 2000 in XP PRO SP2, but when is end install, rolled back
and not install
without any message error...
anybody now anything about this...

please add the
/L*v "c:\MsdeLog.txt"
parameter to your call to setup.exe boostrap installer... this will enable
verbose logging of the installation process, resulting in an (about) 2mb
text file (for a succesfull installation) syou can inspect for
RETURN VALUE 3
entries indcating problems... about 10/15 lines before each entry some
(sometime) cryptic description of the problem will be reported...
anyway, before re-installing, please verify File and Printer sharing is
enabled, as long as the Server service up and running..
